Me, Myself and I : I think that if you are reading think you probably know me by now, but if not, then : My friend called me X, yeah, must be the left over from my X-Philes day, I think I still am, really. So, it's X. What I do for a living is not really important, just know that most of the time it's boring. My favorite things to do... I read, a lot, and I write, some. I watch a lot of movie (certain kind of movie) and a lot of anime, yes Japanese Anime. I got a collection of them and also what I tried to watch with fansub on week to week basis (which is a lot) and go out and get the ones I like when it actually licenced and out in my neck of the wood.
Movies and Tv Show, oh yeah, those are the 'must' for me. I watch at least 10 shows each week, so that's a lot of TV right there, as for movie I tried to see them (the ones I'm interested in, which is easy to say that it doesn't include comedy or romance in anyway).
Music : NIN, Staind, Taking Back Sunday, Chevelle, Disturbed, P.Roach, Mary Elizabeth McGlyn, Evanescence, Finch, I think you kinda get the idea.
Books : murder mysteries, fantasy, horror, sci-fi, slash blah blah blah....
Layout --
Poster Girls : Sarah Connor and Cameron Philips
Series : Terminator : The Sarah Connor Chronicles
Program : The always faithful Photoshop and Dreamweaver, because I can't code everything by hand, just don't have that kind of patient.

learning to use new thing in the old program, and teaching this old dog a new trick
learning to use new thing in the old program, and teaching this old dog a new trick
I've been using Photoshop for ... um... since I got my second computer. I remembered clearly that my first photoshop was a 4.0 and I got it full feature with my first scanner. (considering how expensive the program was, that was kinda extraordinary) But my first PC wasn't powerful enough for me to use, it was too slow, and I just couldn't get through the 'layer' because I simply didn't understand how it works.
Then the second pc came and so I started to use it. Once I understood 'layer' it was all a breeze for me. After I learned how to use it pretty proficiently, I took Photoshop class with Lance Hidy, because you could never know too much about something, right? I did learn a lot in that class, Lance was an illustrator, I intended to take Illustrator class too, but didn't due to other requirement that I had to get done. Kinda suck, because I really wanted to.
One thing I never get to learn or rather wanna learn was 'Pen' tool. Lance talked about it, but we didn't get to really spend time on it, and I never touched it since then. So, now I'm learning it (trying to teach myself it, rather) and I spent last night trying to do some illustration with pen tool. Hopefully, by the time I finish the image I should be comfortable with it. Again, hopefully, is the operative word here.
I've been participating in PMOG. :) Almost get to level 7 now. I should've use the mine more than I did, because it would've put me in association with Destroyer and I can get mine, now I can't because I don't have Destroyer as my association, instead I have Seer, Benefactor, Pathmaker.
Another thing that I'm learning is Violin.
Why?
I wanted to.
I like the sound of strings, cello, viola, violin. At the moment, violin seems more viable, due to the size, too. I just had my first class, we'll see how that goes on the second class next Tuesday.
New things, ha ha...

Last few days of freetime!
Last night I went to pick up a set of second hand manga with a friend of mine. At first I wasn't gonna go anymore, cause no one was going with me, but well, it turned out that Sai would so, we went and I got my mom a t-shirt and I got Orange Road the entire set (I used to have the complete set but someone borrowed and didn't return them to me) The reprint weren't very well done so I was considering if I want to get it or not. Now I got better one, so I'm quite happy.
Also I got my R/C Illu of Shizuru/Natsuki done, and the Hellsing one also almost complete. Just a bit of touch up and cleaning and they will be fit for posting. The ShizNat one needed a bit of a trim on the side and some wiping down, since the glue left some residue, same goes for Hellsing one. Now they both are done I got something else in mind, I enjoy making them even though they are not very intellectually challenge. (only your sense of aethetic property) Sometimes I have the hell of a time trying to figure out if I wanna leave certain shape uncut or not, and if it'll help the overall picture. Oh well, you will only see it when it's complete. And once it's done, there's no more fixing it.
It's raining again. I like rain, up to a point. :)
I have another 20 min or so to get ready before picking up my friend for working out. Hopefully we'll make it there this time.

Hey =)
I haven't talked to you in awhile, and I thought I'd say hi. I miss you loads! I don't think I have had egg drop soup since you left the states so long ago! I hope everything is going well! I'm in Amherst now, but going home next week. It's still strange not having you around in the Red civic to hangout with , to cook with , go to movies with , eat takeout Chinese with, etc. =)
